Holy crap your artwork is frikkin' excellent! Did you go all the way back to Pinders' first drawing of this 'fursona' for a reference? The recent drawing he did didn't really show much more than his face. There's no way you got him so spot on from looking at MY scribbles of him.

Well thank you B! That is very kind. Yes, I referred to Pin's original drawing! You shouldn't put down your drawings as scribbles because they're very personally expressive and valuable. How people redesign things is informative!

I realized a few months ago that LiquidCrystalDelay https://www.ninechime.com/deep/profile.php?user=LiquidCrystalDelay was one the many secret avatars of Albert Temple.

He was always very supportive with me. He inked and colorized several doodles of mine. When you think about it, creating so much personalities and full of life stories for absolutely no reason -not even for internet fame- till his very last day on Earth, is an impressive way to give meaning to Life. I respect that a lot. Respects given.

By the way, I read the whole Lust saga and Future Pig issues these last days. Brentos, Pavel, I admire you as much as Mr Temple. I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to give us some of the best weird adult comics ever made.

I didn't even know he passed away. I didn't know him but always thought he was a nice guy back in the VCL days. This is such a great memorial pic for him too. I'm thinking this could have been an album cover from some 1962 beat-jazz record. He would have loved it I'm sure.

Me too! I'm thinking the truck is half Ford and half Fargo which is awesome. I could go on forever talking about how I've jerry-rigged my old trucks to keep them going. My old Chev has a glass jar for an coolant expansion tank and I've got a turn-buckle holding the thermostat housing on to the head of my Land Rover. The engine is so shot I even had to make what I call 'the second exhaust' coming out of the oil filler tube.

Thanks for the compliments on the inking! Brentos, I love those repairs you mentioned, that kind of stuff is great for art gags (also very clever in reality!) The truck might be a Fordargo!

The good thing about replacing everything is you end up with enough parts for a whole new vehicle!

The movement could be The Red-Necks LOLLOL. I'm reminded of the Repo Man movie, there was going to be a thing in the movie where anyone involved in the secret society of conspiracy theorists who were trying to help the nuclear physicist smuggle the dead aliens in the trunk of the car all wore a yellow happy face so they could recognize each other. That was cut from the final film but if you look closely you'll still see a couple happy faces here and there even though it no longer was really a part of the story.

Yep all we really can do with friends and family that have died is to share memories of them, and similarly hope that somebody will remember us when we become dead. It's interesting how a person can, in a way, become memory. And in the case of famous historical figures that are only read about but never truly known, can exist in peoples' imagination, even though different people will imagine the historical figure differently. I do believe this strip has legitimately brought up a subject that's worth a bit of deep thinking!

That's right! I can't say for sure He'd like this, even though I'm pretty certain he would. For instance when Monty Python did a live reunion tour and at every venue they had Graham Chapman's ashes and they'd 'accidentally' spill some of them on to the stage. He thought that was awesome. But still, you can never know for sure if Graham Chapman would approve. So maybe the whole time we aren't really what we think of ourselves, but we're what OTHERS think of us. There's a Douglas Coupland novel, Miss Wyoming, where the main character's a has-been eighties celebrity and when she appears to die in a plane crash she gets to see what people REALLY think of her...

Please don't restrain yourself. I often say that the furry take on art allows artists to be less self-judmental about what they want to draw, emo stuff, erotic art, spiritual stuff. It works so well with non-human characters and so bad with human ones (to my eyes at least) This piece is perfect.

That's the problem with doing furry aht, tons of people would take it too seriously and think everything we draw is some weird fetish or something. But then again that's probably our fault. How I would love to be that fucking paintbrush softly brushing her furry grey neck and every brushstroke makes her stretchy neck stretch a little bit more stretchy. And then I'd take another bite out her cute ear and I'd fucking SWALLOW it the only thing that could make this drawing better is if paintbrushes could bite and swallow! I wish this was real and I could marry it!
