All it does is prevent the applets from saving JPEG files, forcing them to send PNGs. The applets will still be able to import JPEGs properly, and the board can still use JPEG files as normal, such as uploads.
I just read your comments to another question in regard to setting the following in the hacks.php file:
define ('APPLET_NO_JPEG', 1);
to force png saves, instead of jpg saves for larger drawings.
If I make this change, will it prevent users from accessing pics that have already been saved as jpgs?
Are there any potential problems I should be aware of in making this change?
