Like Icarus, who flew too close to tha sun and doomed himself for it, we have made our video games more and more exciting until they too will be our doom. Dammit, the Atari porn games should have been more than enough excitement for anyone, but mankind's thirst for vidya gaem excitement had become unquenchable. By the time Sega had introduced blast processing, I knew it was all over and it was only a matter of time until gaming would finally reach terminal excitement. But perhaps this was Man's ultimate destiny: to utterly kill themselves through the power of exciting video games. I hope after we're gone, the Earth will see the dawn of a new civilization of intelligent giant insects, who will eventually come up with their own video games but hopefully not repeat the same mistakes as we foolish humans. Btw, congrats on quitting smoking!

Well I haven't been posting much lately so I may as well let everyone know what's going on because well, sometimes I'm talkative ya know?

For the last two years after a certain vaccine that we all know and love I've been in very rough shape and have been experiencing all the symptoms you've probably heard about. During that time my heart has been getting worse and worse until this summer when I could hardly function at all. I've been getting some good treatment now and hope to get better. Anyhow the situation has definenately affected my comics lately as you would have noticed. It's not just the 'aht' but mostly the writing, if my energy level is way down I just can't seem to be 'funny' or spontaneous. I'll just stare at my screen drinking beer and listening to music until I get so tired I just go to bed. But I think I'm going to get better, the medication I'm on seems to be making a difference, sometimes now when I'm out and about I actually 'feel' funny again, I make up jokes in my head, literally laugh to myself and or make other people laugh.

It's rare for someone to say my comics are funny but I personally think they're hilarious much of the time so I think other people will think they're funny and I keep making them. But I can tell over the last couple years my stuff kinda sucks. So just letting everyone know I'm not going to be doing much work on Lust for some time until I feel energized about the story again. Hopefully that happens soon!

PS: If I go like a whole year without even signing in that means I've died suddenly and all you Deeples can use my comic characters for your own enjoyment!

hey now, there's no need to let yourself be constrained by regular grid-style comic panels! try different things to fill up space like drawing a wide landscape worth 2 or 3 panels, or use multiple panels showing a closeup of a character's face when he's reacting to some sort of tomfoolery, or saying something important to the story, if anything important ever happens!

Like ten years ago I'd search for 'Land Rover' and every day get some new videos to watch but now I type that in and have been getting the exact same videos for like ten years. It's fuckin' amazing how useless You-tube (and google) is now. Even when I search on Rumble or Odysee it's the same thing, just the same videos over and over. I have to guess that the other video streaming services are somehow linked to google in some way because they're all the same now as far as searching goes. But at least Rumble and Odysee don't censor as much as google....
