I started a new weekend job last Saturday to make some extra money and to get my bank account back in order and I've ended up working with these young folk who are quite literally less than half my age. They are the most unironic zoomer stereotypes imageable the curly bouffant hair thing and joggers and gold chains.

yep, the generation gap is really something alright! It's weird to think that we used to consider our parents' generation unhip and out-of-touch, and now we're considered the same way by the younger generation. But surely they're wrong, and we're still mega cool...right?

This pic actually made my day because I'm making significantly less money than before. If my P.V.S ever goes away and I don't suddenly kick the you know what I'll be off looking for a better job let me tell you. I haven't been here for quite a while because I'm so profoundly fatigued all the time. It's affected my cartooning big time for the past couple years and it's worse in the winter so my apologies for the few lame pages in this time. It's actually less severe this year but I've just said 'fuck it I'm drawing less for the time being. Just give me sleep'. Did I mention whining is also one of the symptoms because it is. :boohoo:

The good news is I've quit smoking and I never bought any crypto currencies and did some other good investment moves at the beginning of the current natowar when people smarter than me said I was fucking CRAZY. So you wanna know what my outlook for this shitty year is? I'll tell you right here and now. I'll never believe anything they say ever again and fuck everyone except my honest and open-minded friends and all my buds and buddettes here at this whacky little backwater website.

I didn't use my wacom to draw this because it's up in my office and it's to late in the evening to turn on the heater so I pulled my old trust tablet from under the couch and found one of my birds had done a stealth poop on it.

As for the Baroness/Janine thing: idk man, they both have massive specs appeal. Baroness is an evil bitch who dresses in that tight black uniform and speaks whatever accent that's supposed to be but it does sound hot af. Janine just has that stereotypical New York accent and doesn't dress as nicely. However she is a redhead so that automatically makes her even with Baroness in terms of hotness :gamer:

I get it now, it's two characters I'm just not familiar with right? Nothing wrong with that, I'm not ashamed! And Yes I too get annoyed when they re-invent a character, to me it's just lazy writing.

And of course YES Sakana you win a free pic for being 4 days before Pinders in explaining this to me! But mostly because I just want to see what you want for a drawing THIS time! Just remember I can't use colour or change the pixel size so whatever I draw will be lame by default. And it might take me like four months to do.

I'll see what I can do but it's compatibility problems with my Mac. I might be able to use the texture feature to get that effect but probably not, it might have to be just sketchy lines as in more chicken scratch. I just need to finish the latest page for Lust before I begin, I'm so close to finishing it but I spend most of my drawing time to trippin' out to music... :gamer:

I bought a intuos 4100 but I kinda have a bit of buyer's remorse cause I don't really do enough digital drawing to justify it and the way I like to draw I'am not really getting the benfit of the better pressure sensitivity although the better DPI is great.

Getting clip studio with it was what swayed me even though I'm probably not use it very much.

Yours is the same model as mine, is that why you coloured it this way? I'd be able to do it like that too but I can't change the pixel size to anything but '1'. Can you change your pixel size? Also what kind of computer do you use? I'm using a Mac. :gamer:

That seems to be my problem, having a Mac. I was quite happy with the results on my PC a few years ago until it imploded on itself and became un-useable. I'm amazed windows hasn't scrapped Edge completely by now, I thought they were going to get rid of it. Hopefully they don't.
I haven't really looked into it but shouldn't Mac have their own drawing tablet by now? Macs were supposed to be the choice of graphic artists and all that jazz but they're like miles behind it seems now...

After ten years with my cheap £14 trust tablet I finally bit the bullet and bought a Wacom which is light years of difference for me. But I do notice a problems with it and chicken paint in firefox I've got no size on the pen or the pencil but I do in edge but in edge forced pen pressure with the pencil tool.

I had similar problems running chicken paint under Firefox. It just goes to show: You should never trust a fox around your chickens! But I believe Brentos discovered that it runs better under Internet Explorer, if you want to try that next time you draw dubious angels

Yeah, same thing with me. I'm using Safari on a Mac, can't change the pen size, it's always on size '1' and kind of looks pixelated. Your lines look nice and smooth here and at least you can get *some* different line weights which is better than what I'm getting. (maybe I should try applying more pen pressure...)

When I had a PC I was doing some pretty good stuff (in my opinion) when using Internet Explorer. I think I was at the time forced to open Explorer to get any functions at all but when I did it was a lot easier than what I get now with most if not all oekaki features. Right now I can't even colour anything.

Wacom keeps telling me that future versions of Safari won't be compatible with my Wacom tablet at all but so far I can at least do what I'm doing. Maybe Mac has or will come up with their own tablet but til then I'm okay with what I got.
