The grass is lovely, as is the sky/butterflies, but the sunflowers don't seem right (mostly the leaves/stems, I think, and I am not sure why exactly, but also the centers seem a little too dark - they are kind of jarring). That glove is pure awesome, though. (:

I've lurked here awhile and looked up many of your pieces and may I say I am mad about your coloring skills, lineart, and compositions.

This is quite lovely, she reminds me of a Bode girl, the hair and lush curves. I also think the grass is really gorgeous. I do have one little issue, though... her legs look amputated, there's no hint of bent legs, which could be easily done.

The sunflowers are a bit unrealistic, but that's OK, they don't have to be perfect :)

Meh, working on a continuation, I like the mermaid a lot better this time around, however, i can't seem to get to a point where I am happy with the young man's face. Maybe as I color I can get it right, but for the moment he looks like a dope.

I'll comment on this now, while it is uncolored, and probably again after you color it. I love clean linework like this, even now I am spellbound. I am sure that after you get your water effects and shading done this will be masterful.

I'm a fountain of blood
In the shape of a girl
You're the bird on the brim
Hypnotized by the Whirl

Drink me, make me feel real
Wet your beak in the stream
Game we're playing is life
Love is a two way dream

Bachelorette has been stuck in my head, and this is the result of me listening to too much Bjork. Was trying to work more with back lighting and accounting for color changes in watery environments.

Might do more of these characters, having ideas.

Got to say it, have you ever herd of Weeki Wachee Springs ??

http://weekiwachee.com/mermaid/

Place a few min north of where I live, they have "live mermaids" its amazing fun to go there and act like a lil kid again...and there's MANATEES.

Also the gallery at the site especially the old 50s 60s ones might have some ref value for you or really anyone, I look at it alot myself. ^^

Simply wonderful. I am a sucker for this kind of theme in art and media, I love the awe and wonder of it. Plus it is tinged with eroticism in such a way as that this aspect does not take away, but adds greatly to the overall mood.

I see what you mean by the "Valley of the Breasts," But I guess I've kinda avoided widened hips so the upper legs don't look flabby. I mean theres generous baby makin' hips, but then there's freakish obscenity from the Maury show hips.

If you go by oldschool proportions (at least, what they taught me in art class, waaay back in the day) a womans hips should be darn close to how wide her shoulders are. And a females shoulders are only about 1 head wide on either side. Of course, todays supermodels have kind of thrown those proportions out the window, but you have to keep in mind that most of them are over six feet tall; I think the average height of women is like 5'5" or 5'6".

Remember, people's personal furry characters are not ubiquitous icons of society. Especially not a bright pink hyperendowed hermaphrodite cat furry...

...Those pictures, they get around, and they're hard to cleanse from one's brain, so don't go googling them or anything dumb like that.

No, but at the same instance, Sean has a point. I deleted a very snarky comment I made to bassman to just not mess with drama but the sentiment on my part is the same. Is there a way to implement an ignore system or something? Considering there is at least one person I don't want to hear from? Just a thought. Might cut back on drama and frustration.
